Is the bird's nest suitable for indoor cultivation?

Is the bird's nest suitable for indoor cultivation?

1. Is it suitable for indoor breeding?

It is suitable for indoor cultivation. It itself does not have any volatile smell, will not cause any harm to human skin, and it will be fine even if it touches its epidermis. In addition, it can absorb CO2 at night and release a lot of O2, which is not harmful to the human body, so you can put it in the living room or bedroom.

2. How to keep it indoors

1. Temperature: It likes a warm environment. Usually the best growth temperature is between 15 and 32 degrees. It is afraid of heat. When the temperature exceeds 33 degrees in summer, it will enter a dormant state. In addition, it is afraid of cold. In winter, the temperature needs to be kept above 10 degrees. If it is lower than 7 degrees, it will enter a dormant state. If the temperature drops to 4 degrees, it may die.

2. Sunlight: It likes sunlight very much. If there is insufficient light, the leaves will fall off and the roots will rot. Therefore, when growing it indoors, it needs to be placed in a place with sufficient light, but in summer, it needs to be properly shaded from the sun.

3. Watering: In spring and autumn, water it once every 1 to 2 days, but not too much. Then when summer comes, stop watering and also cool it down appropriately, such as spraying water on its leaves and paying attention to ventilation. In winter, reduce watering and keep the soil in the pot dry.

4. Fertilization: It does not require high fertilizer requirements, and even the amount of fertilizer needs to be controlled, so generally no fertilizer is applied. However, if it grows too slowly, you can add some potassium-containing liquid fertilizer once a month.

5. Pruning: As it grows, prune those branches that are too long or too dense in time to maintain a good plant shape.
