How to care for Rainbow Sugar Succulents and how to grow them quickly? How to grow Rainbow Sugar Succulents

Rainbow Candy Succulent is a plant of the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family, a horticultural hybrid variety of Xuhe. When it is grown into a good condition, its leaves are thick and obovate, the leaf surface is slightly concave, the back is curved and convex, there is no obvious dragon spine line, the front part of the leaf is a little pointed, and the whole plant is covered with a layer of white frost.

Generally, the shape of the succulent rainbow candy is a rosette. When they are in good condition, the leaves are very rich in color, showing a combination of pink, purple, light blue, and dark red.

Rainbow candy succulent cultivation

Rainbow Candy succulents do not have high requirements for the soil, just keep it loose and breathable, but it is best to add some particles to the nutrient soil. If the particle content is too little, the water will evaporate slowly, and it is easy to accumulate water and grow tall. If the particle content is too high, it will affect the speed at which they hatch.

It is not tolerant to waterlogging, so do not water it too much. Otherwise, in addition to leggy growth, root rot and black rot may occur. Water it according to the hardness of the leaves. If the leaves at the bottom become soft, it means that the plant is lacking water, so you can directly water it thoroughly. If the leaves are still strong, you do not need to water them for the time being. When the temperature is below zero in winter, you need to stop watering and keep the soil in the pot dry, otherwise it will get frostbite or even freeze to death.

Rainbow Candy Maintenance Precautions

Rainbow Candy is very easy to grow and very sun-resistant. As long as the soil is not too dry, the high temperature of 38 degrees in summer will not be a big problem. It is a lazy succulent that does not require much care and is very easy to grow.

In autumn and winter, as long as there is enough light, it will show a beautiful purple-red color. If you want to make the rainbow candy color quickly, generally, put it in an open-air environment as much as possible to maintain it, expose it to wind and sun, and the color will be more gorgeous under good ventilation and a relatively large natural temperature difference.
