Sunflowers can be propagated by cuttings , which is usually done in summer from May to August. First, prepare the planting medium. When propagating by cuttings, you can mix garden soil, sandy soil and rice husk ash, and apply some bone meal as base fertilizer. Then cut off the top of the tender stem as cuttings, about 5 cm in length, and then insert them into the soil, water them thoroughly and put them in a cool place for maintenance. Cutting steps
