Key points for growing vegetables with wood ash

1. Production method: Wood ash, as the name suggests, is the ashes obtained after some straw and leaves are completely burned and cooled. It is gray in color and can supplement potassium fertilizer for the growth of vegetables, improve the resistance of plants, and prevent diseases and insects.

2. Usage: Wood ash can be mixed with soil as base fertilizer for vegetables, or it can be sprinkled on the surface of the soil as topdressing. If you want to prevent insects, sprinkle a circle of wood ash around the vegetables, a thin layer will do.
