Durian seed germination method

Method 1 : Take out the durian seeds and clean them. Use a knife to cut the outer skin of the core and soak it in water. During this period, change the water every day to keep the water clean, otherwise it will easily cause the durian seeds to rot. After soaking for about 3 days, the durian seeds will slowly sprout .

Method 2 : Select a ripe durian and take out the seeds inside. Wash the flesh with clean water and soak the seeds in water above 25℃ for 24 hours. When cracks begin to appear on its skin and the white core can be seen through it, take it out and dry it. Plant the seeds with the cracks facing down in the soil and place them in a cool and ventilated place. After about two weeks, you will see small green seedlings breaking through the soil.

Durian seed germination process

The durian seeds that have been soaked in water for germination will slowly sprout white buds at the cut edge, and then they can be sown. Then bury the durian seeds in the soil for germination in a well-ventilated environment, and generally you will see green seedlings in about two weeks. After that, add water appropriately, and in less than three months, the durian seedlings will develop into durian trees .
