The second half of the year is generally after autumn, when the weather is cool and suitable for growing vegetables. As long as you pay attention to the management of pests and diseases and choose some cold-resistant ones, you will be fine.

There are still many vegetables that can be planted in the second half of the year, such as lettuce, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, coriander, cabbage, autumn celery, overwintering spinach, loofah, broad beans, peppers, leeks, cabbage, etc.

Chives are very simple to grow and are a cold-resistant vegetable. They can survive the winter successfully in most areas of northern my country. It is also okay to plant them in the second half of the year, and they can be harvested multiple times after being planted once.

4. Lettuce

The most suitable growth temperature for lettuce is around 20 degrees, and sub-zero temperatures will not have any effect. When planting lettuce in the open field, you need to pay attention to ensuring good light to avoid insufficient light in the growing environment, which will affect the growth of lettuce leaves.
