How to quickly root rose cuttings How to make rose cuttings easier to root and sprout

Rose is a very familiar plant to everyone. Its flowers are delicate and beautiful and are deeply loved by people. There are many ways to propagate it, and cutting rooting is one of them. If you want the rose to take root faster, you must prepare strong branches and provide a suitable environment.

1. Time selection

If you want the rose branches to take root quickly, it is important to choose the right time. It should be in late spring and early summer, specifically in July, when the climate is mild and the temperature is suitable, which is conducive to rapid recovery after cuttings.

2. Select branches

Selecting rose branches that are growing healthier can greatly increase their rooting rate. Therefore, you must carefully observe the growth of the roses, select strong, disease-free branches, cut them from the main trunk, and trim the leaves on the branches.

3. Cutting method

Be sure to loosen the soil before rose cuttings. The roots of the branches can only grow better in relatively loose soil. The depth of cuttings should not be too deep. It is best to dig a small hole 5-6cm deep on the soil surface. After putting the branches in, compact the surface soil to fix the branches. The cuttings are then completed.

4. Post-maintenance

After the rose is grafted, it cannot be watered immediately. It is necessary to wait for the branches to adapt to the new environment for 2-3 days before you can use a small spray bottle to spray water on the soil to keep the soil moist. In addition, you can also supplement it with an appropriate amount of light. After half a month of maintenance, the rose branches will be able to take root.
