How to fertilize glass jade

How to fertilize glass jade

Soil preparation:

Soil is very important for plants. The planting soil for glass jade can be mixed with 1 part coarse sand + 1 part garden soil + 1 part leaf mold + appropriate amount of base fertilizer.

Fertilizer application:

In fact, glass jade does not have high requirements for fertilizer, just pay attention to the following points:

1. Before planting glass jade, you can apply base fertilizer using the above soil preparation method, or you can just prepare the soil and then add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer to the soil.

2. You can apply bean cake water or sesame paste water to the glass jade once a month, and do it together with watering.

3. During the flowering period of glass jade, fertilize once a week. Bean cake water can be used as fertilizer.

4. During the growth period of glass jade, you can apply fertilizer every 10 days. You can use decomposed cake fertilizer. The concentration of the fertilizer can be 0.2%, and it must not be too concentrated.

5. After the flowering period, fertilize once every half a month to 20 days.

Correct fertilization can make the stems of the glass jade stronger, the leaves more tender and green, and the flowers more colorful. However, excessive fertilizer application will cause the branches and leaves of the glass jade to grow too tall; when fertilizer is insufficient, in addition to seriously affecting its flowering effect, the branches and leaves of the glass jade will slowly turn yellow and lose its original tenderness. When choosing fertilizers, you can also buy fertilizers specifically for glass jade and apply fertilizers appropriately according to the instructions.
