What method can be used to propagate Sansevieria? Will it survive quickly?

1. Breeding Methods

1. Cuttings: Tiger Piran can be propagated by leaf cuttings. There are not many restrictions on the time of operation, and it is best to choose spring. Choose a healthy plant, cut off the healthy leaves from it, and then use clean tools to divide the leaves into several small segments, each about 8-10 cm, and place them aside to dry slightly. Prepare breathable and well-drained sandy soil, dip the leaves in a little rooting powder and insert them into the soil. Place them in a ventilated and cool place for maintenance. Keep the temperature above 15 degrees Celsius. It will take about 15-20 days for the soil to take root.

2. Division: Division can be carried out in conjunction with repotting and changing the soil. After the Sansevieria has grown for a period of time, its root system has become relatively developed. You can slowly take the Sansevieria out of the pot, comb out the roots underneath, and then use a knife to divide it into 2-3 parts. Prepare a suitable flowerpot, which does not need to be too big, and prepare soil suitable for growth. It should be loose and breathable, and maintain good drainage. Plant the divided plants in it, and pay attention to maintenance in the later stage.

3. Tissue culture: This method is not commonly used in general households. It requires taking out the tissue from the leaves and placing it in a culture medium for cultivation and reproduction.

2. Does it reproduce and survive quickly?

Tissue culture propagation is very fast, but it is not commonly used. It takes about half a month for cuttings and divisions to survive.
