Watermelon growing temperature

Watermelon is not resistant to low temperatures. The temperature range required for its growth is 10℃-40℃ , and the most suitable temperature for its growth is 25℃~30℃ . Watermelon has different temperature requirements at different growth stages. The most suitable temperature for watermelon germination is 28℃~30℃, the growth temperature after germination is 22℃~25℃, and the temperature for later development, flowering and fruiting is higher, above 30℃.

Watermelon planting time

The planting time of watermelon should be chosen according to the climatic conditions of each place. Early-maturing watermelons planted in the natural environment are sown in March, and the watermelons can be mature and put on the market in July. For late-maturing varieties, the planting time can be appropriately postponed and sown in mid-to-late April.
