Where do apricot trees grow?

Apricot trees are generally suitable for growing in hilly areas. During the growth process, the temperature must be kept suitable at all times and the soil must be relatively fertile. At the same time, it is a tree that prefers light, and generally requires about 8 hours of light a day.

Apricot trees are native to my country. They are perennial deciduous trees. They belong to the drupe family and are one of the most common fruit trees cultivated in northern China. Apricot trees are mainly produced in Xinjiang in my country. They are one of the oldest fruit trees in my country. They are also planted in large numbers in North China, Northwest China and East China.

Apricot tree growth environment

1. Temperature : Apricot tree is a tree species with strong cold resistance and can grow normally in areas of 4-6℃. Therefore, the apricot tree's wide adaptability to temperature is much higher than other deciduous fruit trees.

2. Light : Apricot tree is a light-loving tree species. When planted in northern regions, its annual sunshine hours are mostly above 2500-3000 hours. When it is lower than this value, it is easy for the plant to fail to develop normally and increase the risk of diseases and pests, causing the fruit color to deteriorate or even fail to grow.

3. Soil moisture : The root system of the apricot tree is relatively developed, mainly because its taproot is very strong and can absorb moisture from deep in the soil. If the soil moisture is insufficient, it will directly affect its survival rate and weaken its growth, directly affecting the yield of the year.
