How to grow watercress

1. Planting soil: When planting watercress, you need to choose a paddy field with convenient irrigation. The soil used must have sufficient fertility and must have certain fertilizer and water retention properties.

2. Sowing: When planting watercress, you need to apply enough base fertilizer and prepare the ridges. Then you can sow the seeds. After sowing, you need to water them appropriately to keep the soil moist.

3. Field management: After sowing watercress, it is necessary to put it in shallow water in time, generally with a depth of about 2 cm. Then, as the plant grows, the water level should be gradually increased. Generally, the water level in the field should not exceed 5 cm.

Things to note when growing watercress

1. When watercress is growing, it needs to be fertilized regularly. Generally, quick-acting fertilizer is used so that it can grow well.

2. Although watercress does not require much light, it cannot be deprived of light for a long time, otherwise its growth will be weak. Therefore, there must be sufficient scattered light at normal times.
