Ground bean planting time and method

Ground bean planting time

If you want to plant beans in the open field, it is best to do it in April or May. The climate at that time is relatively warm, which is more conducive to seed germination. It is not advisable to plant too early, otherwise its germination rate will be relatively low. For it, the most suitable temperature is between 25-35 degrees.

Ground bean planting method

1. Site selection and land preparation: When planting beans in the open field, you need to pay attention that they must not be planted continuously. You need to use loose, fertile soil and good drainage for planting. You must also deep plow and apply enough base fertilizer.

2. Seed treatment: Before sowing, the bean seeds need to be exposed to the sun for 1-2 days, and then soaked in warm water for 5-6 hours to allow them to absorb enough water so that they can germinate faster.

3. Sowing and planting: After processing the bean seeds, you can sow them. You can directly spread them in the soil. However, there must be appropriate planting spacing, and the planting depth should be maintained at 3-4 cm.

Notes on planting ground beans

1. After planting, bean seeds need good maintenance and management. Try to keep the soil moist and provide a suitable lighting environment.

2. After the bean seeds germinate, thinning and replanting are needed in time to allow them to grow well. Some seedlings that do not grow well need to be removed.
