Can Aloe Vera be hydroponically cultivated?

The Never Sleep Aloe can be grown hydroponically. It is a plant that likes sunlight and can tolerate drought. It is generally not recommended to grow it in water. Sandy soil cultivation is better than hydroponics and it is easier to survive. Drier soil is more suitable for survival. The humidity of the hydroponic Never Sleep Aloe is relatively high, and the roots are prone to rot, which will reduce the survival rate.

The method of hydroponic cultivation of aloe vera in the city that never sleeps

1. Wash the roots: Soak the Aloe Vera seedlings in clean water for about fifteen minutes, change the water and wash until the roots are completely free of dirt. Soak the roots in potassium permanganate solution for ten minutes and then wash them with clean water.

2. Planting: Spread out the roots of the Everbright Aloe and place them in a container. You can fix the area around the bottle mouth, then pour clean water into about two-thirds of the container, and be careful to keep the roots stretched.

3. Care: Move the Aloe Vera to a cool, sheltered place, change the water every three days, and add appropriate nutrient solution. If the roots are rotten, remove them in time. New roots will grow in about a month.

Precautions for growing aloe vera in water

1. Oxygen: When growing aloe vera in water, the roots cannot be completely immersed in water. The roots need to be exposed to the air for at least 5 cm. In this way, even if the roots immersed in water cannot absorb oxygen, the roots exposed outside the water can replenish it in time.

2. Water: When growing aloe vera in water, the water should be replaced with clean water in time, and nutrient solution can be added appropriately so that the nutrients in the culture container can maintain the normal growth of the rose.
