Ginseng planting methods and time cultivation and planting technology

Ginseng planting time

There are not many requirements for the planting time of ginseng. It can be planted in spring, summer and autumn. Spring is generally in late April, when the temperature is stable. It can germinate in the same year after planting. The planting time in summer is between June and July, and in autumn it is at the end of October.

In addition, the planting time varies in different regions. It is best to plant in late June in the northern region to avoid low temperatures in the later period, while in the southern region it can be extended to early July.

Ginseng planting methods and key points

Buy suitable ginseng seeds, soak them in clean water for about 24 hours, then take them out and place them in a warm environment of about 18-20℃. This will help to accelerate germination, increase the germination rate of the seeds, and promote their subsequent growth.

According to the time requirements, sow the ginseng seeds in the soil, and remember to spray water on the soil surface frequently to keep it moist. After the seedlings grow out, be sure to block the sunlight to prevent sunburn.

Points to note when managing ginseng

The growth temperature of ginseng is between 15 and 25 degrees. It is not only very adaptable to temperature, but also very resistant to extreme climates. For example, in winter, it can withstand temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees.
