Can Ficus Ginseng be hydroponically cultivated?

Ginseng fig can be grown in water. Ginseng fig is usually a common plant grown in soil at home and can be viewed in all seasons. However, in addition to potted plants, as long as the growth environment is met and attention is paid to water use, ginseng fig can also be grown in water. The leaves of ginseng fig grown in water are more moist and vigorous than those grown in soil.

Ginseng Ficus hydroponic cultivation methods and key points

1. Buy well-grown ginseng ficus plants with roots in the market, soak them in rooting water, disinfect them, and finally dry them.

2. Place the processed ginseng fig in a large glass container and pour 3/1 of water into it, leaving only the bottom roots slightly submerged in the water. The ginseng fig will grow roots on its own. Add a few drops of nutrient solution to the water and finally place it in a well-ventilated environment with good sunlight and observe it.

Precautions for growing ginseng ficus in water

1. When you first start hydroponics for ginseng fig, do not use tap water directly. You can buy a small bottle of hydroponic stabilizer at the flower market and pour it into the tap water, or use tap water that has been exposed to the sun for more than an hour, or use purified water directly. After about a month of hydroponics, you can use tap water directly. Note that it is best to change the water about once every half a month.

2. Nutrient solution can be used to promote the growth of hydroponic ginseng fig, but it should not be used within one month at the beginning of hydroponics to avoid rejection reaction. It needs to be used appropriately after one month, measured in drops.
