How to keep the seeds of fire ginseng fruit

Fire ginseng fruit seeds

If you want to keep seeds of the fire mulberry, you need to consider the temperature and the growing environment to see whether the temperature can promote seed germination. You also need to choose a warm bed for seedling cultivation. This will not only shorten the time, but also speed up the germination of the fire mulberry seeds.

Choose dark yellow, regular-shaped fire ginseng fruits as seeds, mash the seed coat, wash the fire ginseng fruit seeds and then dry them.

Fire ginseng fruit seed storage

After the fire ginseng fruit seeds are collected, they need to be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, low-temperature environment. They should not be too humid, otherwise the seeds will become moldy after absorbing water, affecting germination.

Planting of Fire Fruit Seeds

Fire ginseng fruit is generally sown in spring and autumn, specifically in April and May in spring and August and September in autumn. The temperature and humidity at this time are suitable, the seed germination rate is high, and the growth is also good.

Before sowing, the fire ginseng fruit needs to be soaked in warm water for two hours, then taken out and put into medicine, then washed and placed at a temperature of 25 to 30 degrees for germination, and it can be sown after one day.

When sowing, the seedbed needs to be watered thoroughly, then the seeds are mixed with a layer of fine sand and evenly spread on the seedbed. Finally, a layer of agricultural plastic film is covered to keep warm and moisturize. The seedlings will emerge soon and the film can be lifted afterwards.
