What are the breeding methods and precautions of Hongyun Dangtou?

Growth habits of the plant

The lucky tree likes light, is relatively cold-resistant and water-resistant. Young trees grow fast, with a rapid growth period in the first 15 years, followed by a gradual slowing growth. It becomes sedentary after 40 to 60 years, making it an important afforestation tree species.

The plants of lucky bamboo need to be pinched when growing. They can be planted in semi-shaded places and watered when the soil is dry and wet. Alum fertilizer should be applied once a month. There should be sufficient scattered light, but the plants should not be exposed to the scorching sun.

How to breed the lucky worm

Soil selection: Choose Northeast leaf mold or fully fermented nutrient soil (good air permeability, strong water retention, not easy to accumulate water, and conducive to root growth). Do not use highly sticky soil or garden soil.

Watering method: Do not use tap water to water the lucky bamboo. If you use tap water, let it dry in the sun for a day before use. Keep the soil moist and do not water too much or too little.

Fertilization method: You can apply solid fertilizer, nutrient solution, root fertilizer, etc. in the spring of Lucky Plant. Apply nitrogen fertilizer once in March, apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer twice in April, and apply rejuvenation fertilizer once after flowering.

Pruning method: After the leaves of the lucky tree fall, the weak branches, diseased and insect-infested branches should be pruned, and the overgrown branches should be shortened to maintain good light transmittance in the crown.

Precautions for breeding of Hongyun Dangtou

Root protection: Keep the lucky charm plant in a cool room and avoid direct sunlight. When the temperature is low in winter, the roots are easily frozen, so you should pay attention to keeping warm.

Fine planting: When planting the lucky charm plant, try to bring the original soil with you. The soil should be loose and fine, and water it enough to establish the roots. Planting should be deeper to avoid lodging and affecting survival.

Treatment of broken seedlings: After the roots of the lucky plant are cut off, it can be inserted into plain sand. After one week, it can re-root from the broken surface and be replanted again. After a certain period of time, new buds will sprout.
