The legend of cyclamen

Legend has it that Chang'e's body is in the Moon Palace, but her heart is in the human world. She often sits under the sweet-scented osmanthus tree, gazing into the distance at the human world, missing her loved ones.

One day, she could not bear the pain of missing her husband Houyi, so she secretly brought her beloved jade rabbit to the human world to visit her husband Houyi. After a long separation, Chang'e and her husband Houyi were reunited and in love with each other, and they were immersed in talking to each other from the bottom of their hearts.

The spiritual Jade Rabbit could not bear to disturb the rare reunion of this poor couple, so it went to the garden to play with the old gardener.

The Jade Rabbit and the old gardener had similar personalities. Although they did not spend much time together, they formed a deep friendship. However, as the sky gradually brightened, they had to part. Chang'e and Houyi were in tears, and the Jade Rabbit and the old gardener were also reluctant to part. The Jade Rabbit with tearful eyes took a seed from its ear and gave it to the old gardener as a souvenir.

After Chang'e and the Jade Rabbit left, Houyi and the old gardener planted the seed in the garden, watered it every day, fertilized it every night, and day after day, poured all their thoughts for Chang'e and the Jade Rabbit into the seed. Finally, the seed sprouted, grew into a seedling, and blossomed into flowers that looked like little rabbit heads. The flowers looked up at the moon, which was truly pitiful and adorable.
