Cut healthy branches that are free of pests and diseases from the Podocarpus plant, about 10 cm in length, with more nodes on them. Then soak the branches in a mixed solution of carbendazim and rooting powder for 2 hours. After taking them out, place them in a well-ventilated place to dry. This can not only disinfect and sterilize, but also promote rooting of the branches.

If Podocarpus cuttings are planted in suitable soil, the rooting speed will be accelerated. It likes to grow in loose, breathable and well-drained soil. It can be evenly mixed with five parts of leaf mold, three parts of garden soil and two parts of sandy soil. After the preparation, the soil should be thoroughly disinfected and sterilized.
