Flowering time of tiger lily

It usually takes more than 5 years of care for Sansevieria to bloom, and it can only bloom once a year, generally from November to December each year. The flowering period is relatively short, and it can only last about 20 days after flowering. If there is sufficient light, fertilizer and water, it can bloom earlier.

How to grow and bloom Tiger Pilan

1. Light : Tiger Piranha prefers a warm growing environment. It must have sufficient sunlight when being maintained so that it can bloom a large number of flowers. If the light is not sufficient, it will not be able to differentiate flower buds. During maintenance, the temperature must be kept between 20-30 degrees.

2. Watering : When watering the snake plant, you need to decide according to the climate at the time and the flower pot used. If it is a clay pot, you can water it every 2-3 days. If it is a flower pot with poor air permeability, you need to water it every 7-15 days.

3. Fertilization : During the growth period of Sansevieria, some nutrient solution and foliar fertilizer need to be applied. In March, nitrogen fertilizer can be applied 1-2 times to promote the growth and development of branches and leaves. Then before flowering, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers need to be applied 2-3 times to promote flower bud differentiation.

4. Pruning : Tiger Skin Orchid needs to be pruned in time when it sprouts in spring. Some dead and weak branches and diseased and insect-infested branches need to be cut off. This will create a good ventilation environment, allowing it to bloom better and reduce nutrient consumption.
