When is the best time to repot gardenia?

Time to repot Gardenia

The reason why the jasmine needs to be repotted is that the nutrients in the soil will be continuously absorbed, and the soil in the pot will easily become hardened and lack nutrition. If the soil is not changed in time, it will affect its normal growth. However, the newly purchased jasmine does not need to be repotted immediately.

The best time to repot the cassia tree is in spring, from March to May, when the temperature is suitable. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will be difficult for the plant to adapt to the new environment after repotting, which is very unfavorable for the plant's growth.

Gardenia flower repotting method and steps

1. Treatment before repotting

Before repotting the cassia flower, you need to stop watering it, then turn the entire pot upside down, gently tap the bottom and outer wall of the pot, and take out the entire plant.

2. Prepare the flower pot

The new flowerpot chosen for the cassia tree should be selected according to the size of the plant. The diameter of the new pot should be about 5 cm larger than the original pot, so as to be conducive to the normal growth of the plant.

3. Choose soil matrix

The new potting soil for the cassia tree should be loose, breathable and fertile. It can be prepared with garden soil, organic fertilizer and coarse sand in a ratio of 3:1:1.

4. Basin operation

You can keep the old soil of the cassia tree appropriately and then replant it in new potting soil. After compacting the soil, water it appropriately and place it in a ventilated and bright place to acclimate the pot.
