How to propagate Duck Celery

1. Soak the seeds

The main method of propagation of duck celery is sowing. Soak the seeds in salt water for half an hour, and then take out the impurities and shriveled seeds floating on the surface. Wash the plump seeds with clean water, wrap them in gauze, and soak them in running water for a day and night.

2. Disinfection of seeds

Wash off the brown color on the seeds, control the water and soak them in a carbendazim solution for half a day. After disinfection, there is no need to wash them with water. Use a wet towel to wrap it to germinate, and it can usually be sown in 5-7 days.

3. Sowing

Sow the treated seeds into the seedling medium, water them with enough water, and give them a germination temperature of 20-25℃. Seedlings will grow in about 2-3 days. It is necessary to provide timely light during the seedling stage, and it can be transplanted and planted when it grows to 5-6 cm.
