3. Cover the cardboard compost bin with cardboard, burlap or old sheets to prevent moisture from evaporating;

4. Continue to collect kitchen waste, weeds and other materials for one week, then dig a small hole in the middle of the cardboard compost bin, pour these materials into the small hole in the center, mix in shredded newspapers or shredded cardboard, stir and cover again;

5. After the cardboard compost bin is full, let it fully biodegrade and check the humidity once a week. It usually takes three months to complete.
