When pitaya is being propagated, you need to select perennial, thick and strong fleshy stems as cuttings, and the soil used should be mainly a mixture of humus, garden soil and coarse sand. Dragon fruit cutting management

1. When cutting dragon fruit cuttings, you need to apply wood ash or sterilization powder to the blade to prevent the wound from being infected by bacteria and affecting growth and development.

2. After the dragon fruit grows rhizomes, it can be exposed to the sun. However, if the cuttings have just taken root, it is not suitable to give them too much light immediately. They can be exposed to the sun after 2-3 days.

3. It takes about 20 days for pitaya to take root after cuttings, and then it starts to sprout and grow stems and leaves. After sprouting, you can apply nitrogen fertilizer appropriately.

4. After grafting the dragon fruit, don't rush to water it. The soil should be in a dry state. Watering can be done after about 10 days, which is more conducive to growth.
