Where is the best place to plant wolfberry trees?

Where wolfberry trees are planted

Wolfberry trees generally grow in places with high light intensity and relatively dry soil environment. They have strong tolerance to saline and alkali and are suitable for growing in Ningxia, Xinjiang and other places in my country.

Wolfberry trees are suitable for planting in places with low rainfall but strong light conditions. Most of them grow in the northwest region of my country and are also distributed in Xinjiang to a certain extent. Wolfberry trees can also be planted in the south, but the quality of the fruit produced is not as good as that in the northern production areas. The wolfberries in Gansu and Ningxia in my country are relatively famous.

Wolfberry tree planting conditions

Wolfberry trees are suitable for planting in hot, dry and dry places. If they grow in a humid environment, it is easy for the roots to be unable to breathe due to excessive water accumulation in the soil, and eventually the roots will rot and die. In the main planting areas of wolfberry trees, the temperature can be maintained at around 15 degrees Celsius all year round, and there will be no overly extreme climate.

Key points for planting and managing wolfberry trees

1. Water content:

The wolfberry tree has a relatively small demand for water. If it is planted in the south, it is necessary to promptly drain and guide water during the rainy season to avoid water accumulation and damage to the roots of the wolfberry tree.

2. Lighting:

Wolfberry trees require long-term, high-quality light during their growth process. It is best if the average light time can reach more than eight hours and is relatively strong. When planting, you should choose an area with good light quality.

3. Fertilizer:

The wolfberry tree does not need fertile soil and can still produce high-quality fruits in poor soil. If you want to supplement nutrients, just add some fermented humus.
