It is not tolerant to waterlogging, has high requirements for soil fertility, has difficulty in root sprouting, and is not resistant to transplantation.

The second is the thin-shelled pecan, which is a light-loving tree species and cannot tolerate shaded environments. Especially during the flowering and fruiting period, it needs sufficient light. It likes a warm and humid environment and is suitable for planting in deep, loose, well-drained, humus-rich sandy loam.

Walnut trees are mainly distributed in Yunnan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Sichuan, Hebei, Gansu, Xinjiang and other provinces (regions) in China. It is one of the most widely distributed economic tree species in my country.

Walnut tree planting time

Walnut trees are best planted in spring and autumn. In spring, they should be planted before budding, and in autumn, they should be planted before the soil begins to freeze. Autumn usually starts after October, so try not to plant them too early.

Benefits of Walnut Tree Planting

100 walnut trees can be planted per acre of land, and the yield per acre is more than 3,000 kilograms in the peak production period. The market price is 15-20 yuan per kilogram, so the gross profit is 30,000 to 40,000 yuan. The profit per acre of planting walnut trees is about 3,000 yuan.
