Cultivation methods and precautions of white chrysanthemum

Cultivation methods and precautions of white chrysanthemum

1. Soil

To grow white chrysanthemum, you need to use loose, breathable and well-drained soil, which can be mixed with peat soil, vermiculite and perlite.

2. Watering

When watering, be sure to water thoroughly and wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. The temperature is high in summer and the soil is easy to become dry, so water it in time, but be careful not to create water accumulation; in winter when the temperature is low, control the amount of watering to avoid frostbite. If you accidentally water it too much, you can put it in a ventilated place to dry.

3. Temperature

The suitable growth temperature for white chrysanthemum is 15-25℃. Too high or too low temperature is not conducive to its growth. It will be frostbitten if the temperature is below 5℃ in winter, and it will enter a dormant state if the temperature is above 35℃. There is no need to water it during dormancy, and it should be placed in a ventilated and cool environment.

4. Lighting

In order to make it grow better, you must give it sufficient light, but you must shade it when the sun is strong in summer, or place it directly in a place with scattered light. It can receive full-day light in spring, autumn and winter. Do not place it in a cool environment for a long time, which will cause it to develop poorly.

5. Notes

1. White chrysanthemum rarely suffers from diseases and pests, but you should also pay attention to prevention. Place it in a sunny, bright and ventilated environment to reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests.

2. When the temperature is high in summer, it will enter a dormant period. Do not apply fertilizer at this time. Just apply fertilizer once a month during its growing period.
