The growth rate of citrus is not fast. The growth process is divided into four important periods, namely, germination differentiation period, germination catalysis period, fruit setting and stress resistance period, fruit strengthening period, and finally maturity period.

Under normal circumstances, the yield of citrus is about 4,000 kilograms per mu. The temperature at which citrus begins to grow is mostly 12.8℃, and its optimal growth temperature is between 23-31℃.

Do not apply fertilizer to citrus in September to avoid hindering wintering. Pay attention to the rational application of organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer, ensure the application amount of organic fertilizer, spray fertilizer on the leaves before and after flowering, fruit growth period, swelling period, and before and after fruit picking to improve fruit quality. Apply base fertilizer deeply and apply topdressing shallowly.
