To grow Bougainvillea, just use these 3 kinds of natural fertilizers. Dig a hole and bury them in the soil for best results!

1. Eggs

Eggs are available in every household, and we eat eggs every day to replenish the energy needed by our bodies. This is because eggs are rich in nutrients. Nitrogen fertilizer is needed to promote the growth of bougainvillea. It happens that eggs can generate fertilizer containing nitrogen after being composted, thereby helping bougainvillea grow and bloom.

When using eggs to grow flowers, we need to beat the eggs into egg liquid, and then add a certain amount of water to dilute it. This can avoid the phenomenon of excessive nutrients causing burns to the flower roots. After the egg liquid is made, we dig a few small holes at the edge of the soil in the flowerpot, and then slowly pour the egg liquid into it. In this way, the egg liquid will slowly ferment inside and release nutrients.

2. Peel

Fruit is indispensable in our life, but don’t waste the peels and throw them away. We can ferment them into water and use them to water the bougainvillea, which can help it absorb nutrients and promote the number and speed of flowering.

We cut the collected peels into small pieces to facilitate the volatilization of nutrients, and then put them into a container and add water for fermentation. The peel water will be fermented in about a month. It is best to add water to dilute it when using it to prevent the nutrients from being too strong and burning the flower roots. If you water it once every half a month, the growth of Bougainvillea will be very obvious.

3. Dried fruit shells

During the growth process, Bougainvillea needs to obtain most of its nutrients from the soil. At this time, in order to prevent the soil from becoming compacted, we need to add some dry fruit shells to help loosen it and increase nutrients, because the dry fruit shells are hard in texture and have good looseness.

Before using, we need to expose the dried fruit shells to light for a period of time, which will help remove impurities and bacteria contained in the fruit shells themselves. Then you can mix the dried fruit shells with the soil. They will slowly ferment in the soil and release nutrients to help the bougainvillea grow.

To care for bougainvillea, we can use these three natural fertilizers to help. They are common household items, free of charge and effective.
