Wolfberry Growth Conditions

Wolfberry is generally more suitable for growing in a cool environment and has a strong ability to adapt to the environment. It requires sufficient light during its growth period. Usually, the production areas of wolfberry are mainly distributed in Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Gansu and Shaanxi.

The most suitable growth temperature for wolfberry is around 15-20 degrees. Wolfberry has a certain degree of cold resistance, but it will also freeze. Generally, it can withstand a low temperature environment of -3 degrees to -2 degrees for a short period of time.

Wolfberry growth period and process

Wolfberry generally grows in slightly acidic weeds. It begins to grow in spring. During the growth period, wolfberry has certain requirements for water, light and fertilizer. It can generally be picked in autumn.

During its entire growth cycle, wolfberry goes through three stages: germination, flowering and fruiting. Wolfberry has great medicinal and nourishing value. Generally, wolfberry will mature gradually from June to October.

Wolfberry planting process and methods

1. Site selection and improvement: Choose deep, fertile and well-permeable soil for planting, and add some humus to the soil before planting.

2. Seed treatment: Select high-quality wolfberry seeds, soak them in warm water at 30-60 degrees, and then dry them for later use.

3. Planting: Plant the processed wolfberry seeds in the soil, then irrigate with water. When the roots of the wolfberry grow to 0.7 cm, they can be transplanted.
