Common varieties of jasmine

Tiger Jasmine

Tiger jasmine is a double-petaled jasmine with flowers that are prone to mutation and leaves that are usually arranged in three leaves in a whorl. Due to its poor disease resistance, this variety is easily attacked by pathogens. It is relatively difficult to cultivate and requires cutting cultivation in a high temperature and high humidity environment. This kind of flower is not suitable for home viewing, but is a common flower for viewing at garden parties.

Chrysanthemum Jasmine King

This variety is a larger variety of jasmine, belonging to the medium-sized flower. It has larger flowers and many flowering layers. The leaf color is darker than that of ordinary domestic jasmine and has a certain luster. However, the survival rate of cuttings is low, not as good as ordinary jasmine.

Jasmine

The height of the Jasmine sambac can reach 1 meter. The branches are slender and slightly vine-like. Simple leaves are opposite with obvious veins. New shoots emerge from the leaf axils in early summer. The inflorescence is terminal or axillary, with 3-9 flowers, usually three to four. The corolla is white and very fragrant. Most varieties bloom from June to October, blooming continuously from early summer to late autumn. Deciduous types bloom in winter, with a flowering period from November to March of the following year. It is one of the common varieties for daily breeding and viewing.

Lion's Head Jasmine

The branches of Lion's Head Jasmine are obviously raised, and the leaves are dark green and small. They usually bloom between 7 and 8 in the evening, with 1 to 2 layers blooming first, and the rest blooming the next day.
