What kind of flower pot is suitable for Brazilian wood

The rubber tree is suitable for planting in ceramic pots, porcelain pots, natural stone pots, and glazed pots. It has high requirements for the flower pots and can be grown in common flower pots. The color of the flower pot can be matched with red, white, or other colors.

Because the rubber tree is a large bonsai, when cultivating it, you can use a hemp rope to wrap it around the flowerpot into a circle, and then add some flowers and grass shapes to make it look more beautiful. Of course, you can also change it according to your preferences.

Brazilian wood flower pot selection

When growing the rubber tree, do not use a flowerpot that is too large. Instead, use a flowerpot that is similar in size to the plant and slightly smaller than the crown. This will look beautiful and will not affect the drainage of the flowerpot itself.

If it is a mature rubber tree, we can use a deep pot to maintain it, but not too deep, as long as it is suitable for its growth. After a few years of growth, remember to change the pot to different sizes according to the growth rate of the rubber tree.

Key points for cultivating Brazilian wood in pots

1. The rubber tree does not have high requirements for soil. If you want it to grow better, it is best to use loose, humus-containing, well-drained acidic soil.

2. During the growth period of the rubber tree, you must water it sufficiently to keep the soil moist. Insufficient watering will cause it to grow poorly. Be sure to water it thoroughly. After entering autumn, you must control the amount of watering. In winter, you must reduce or stop watering. If you water too much, the roots will rot.

3. The rubber tree can grow into a large plant. When it grows too tall, the leaves will fall off, which will seriously affect its appearance. Therefore, it must be pruned in time to increase its ornamental effect and grow new branches.

4. It will be attacked by leaf spot disease and stem rot. After the disease occurs, it should be sprayed with wettable chlorothalonil or wettable methyl thiophanate for prevention and control.
