Sweet potato seed planting

Spring potatoes generally start seedling cultivation in January of early spring, autumn potatoes start seedling cultivation in June, and early winter potatoes start seedling cultivation in August. Sweet potatoes are planted using potato vine cuttings. Due to different temperatures in the planting sites, the planting period is also different.

First select intact seed potatoes, soak them in a solution of polybrene for ten minutes and then plant them. When the sweet potato seedlings grow to 30-40 cm, cut them off, cut them into sections with three leaves, and then insert them into the soil at a distance of 30 cm. After planting, apply rotted manure water to help them grow new roots. After the sweet potatoes survive, urea can be used to level the seedlings. In the later stage, apply potassium and boron fertilizers. Pay attention to prevent voles and grubs.
