The growth environment and conditions of Dripping Guanyin

The dripping angel grows in valleys, ditches or near villages, and is distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Fujian and Taiwan in China.

Growing conditions of Dripping Guanyin

The weeping angel plant is not very demanding on the soil, but it grows best in loose, fertile, well-drained, organic-rich sandy loam. It prefers a moist semi-shaded environment and is not cold-resistant, so during the growing season, the soil must be kept moist. In summer, it needs to be moved to a semi-shaded place and sprayed with water frequently to keep it moist.

Growth temperature of Dripping Guanyin

The weeping angel likes a warm environment. The suitable growth temperature is between 20-30 degrees. It can withstand a minimum temperature of 8 degrees. If the temperature is high in summer and the light intensity is high, it needs shade and frequent spraying of water to keep it moist. The room temperature in winter needs to be above 5 degrees.

How to propagate the weeping angel

1. Sowing: Get seeds from wild weeping angel plants, and then sow them in spring, providing sufficient water and nutrients. I believe that you will soon get the weeping angel seedlings you want.

2. Cuttings: Select some sturdy stems from the vigorously growing weeping angel, about 10 cm in length, with buds on the stems. Plant these stems directly in the loose and fertile potting soil as cuttings, and do a good job of care. As long as there are no problems, the cuttings will soon take root and survive.

3. Division: When repotting the weeping angel in spring, you can take out a smaller and stronger plant, separate it from the mother plant, and cultivate it to make it an independent plant.

Planting time and method of Dripping Guanyin

1. Choose a place with good light and temperature. The weeping angel grows better in an environment of 25-30 degrees, and it likes a semi-shaded environment, but it also needs appropriate light. Therefore, if you want to care for it in a pot, you not only need to provide sufficient light, but also do a good job of shading.

2. The leaves of the weeping angel are relatively large, so it consumes more water. Therefore, you need to water it more in daily life, but do not cause water accumulation. After entering winter, just keep the soil in the pot moist, but not too wet. In addition, if the air environment is relatively dry, you need to spray water to ensure the humidity of the air.

3. If you want the weeping angel to grow healthily and have a strong stem, you need to supplement nutrients in time. Apply fertilizer every 10 days during the growth period, usually with nitrogen fertilizer. After autumn, use phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, and stop fertilizing in winter.
