The growing environment and local conditions of the peach tree

Growth environment and conditions of small peach trees

The small peach tree is more suitable for a warm growing environment. Its origin is in China, and it is widely planted all over the world. It is more common in the provinces of North my country and East China. When maintaining it, it needs a suitable temperature environment and good ventilation so that it will grow faster.

Peach tree growing conditions

When planting small peach trees, it is usually necessary to use loose and fertile soil with good drainage. The soil should not be too sticky, otherwise gum flow disease will easily occur. There should also be sufficient light during maintenance.

Peach tree growth temperature

The small peach tree is very cold-resistant, but during the dormant period, the temperature cannot be lower than minus 23 degrees Celsius, otherwise it will cause frostbite. The flower buds will also be damaged when the temperature is lower than minus 18 degrees Celsius. The temperature should be kept at around 25 degrees Celsius at ordinary times.

Peach tree growth process

Small peach trees are generally propagated by grafting and cuttings. After the tree survives, it will take root and sprout branches, gradually growing thicker and stronger. It will sprout in January, bloom in February-March, and the flowers will wither around April, resulting in fruits that will mature in August-September in autumn.

Time and method of planting small peach trees

Small peach trees are usually planted in spring or autumn because the temperature and climate at that time are more suitable for growth and they are easier to survive. When planting, loose waste and well-drained soil are needed, and then they are planted by cuttings, and relatively sturdy cuttings are needed.
