Apple's growing environment and growing conditions

Apple Growing Environment and Conditions

Apples prefer a low-temperature growing environment. When growing, they must avoid high temperatures in the summer and keep warm in the cold winter. They are more common in hillside terraces, plains, mines and hills. They are native to central Europe and Asia, and are also grown in other countries.

Apple Growing Conditions

Apples prefer low temperature environments and grow better in drier areas. They need plenty of sunlight when planting so that they can grow well.

Apple growing temperature

When apples are growing, the annual average temperature needs to be kept between 9-14 degrees. In winter, the temperature cannot be lower than minus 12 degrees, and in summer it cannot be higher than 20 degrees.

Apple growth process

When apples are growing, they need a suitable temperature during the seedling stage, preferably kept above 12 degrees. Watering needs to be stopped during the flowering period from April to June. Next is the physiological fruit drop period and fruit expansion period, and good light maintenance is required. Finally, it is the ripening period, during which time fertilization needs to be carried out in time.

Apple Planting Time and Method

Apples are usually planted in winter. Grafting can be used for propagation. The soil used should be loose and fertile, which is more conducive to its growth. Watering and fertilization should be carried out in time, and there should be a good ventilation environment to reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests.
