Seven-leaf lotus cultivation method

Seven-leaf lily belongs to the Araliaceae family. When it is propagated, three methods are usually used: sowing propagation, cutting propagation and layering propagation.

1. Lighting

Although the seven-leaf lily is relatively shade-tolerant, it needs sufficient sunlight when growing, which can make it grow more vigorously. However, in summer, it needs appropriate shade to avoid strong light exposure.

2. Soil

When planting seven-leaf lily, soil with good drainage is generally used. A mixture of fine sand, peat soil and leaf mold can be used, which will allow it to grow well.

3. Temperature

During the maintenance process, the seven-leaf lily requires a suitable temperature environment. The temperature needs to be kept between 15-25 degrees. The temperature cannot be lower than 5 degrees, otherwise it will affect the growth.

4. Watering

Seven-leaf lily needs sufficient water environment when being maintained, especially in summer, when it needs to increase water appropriately. It needs to be watered once a day to ensure the moisture of the soil. In spring and autumn, watering can be appropriately reduced.

5. Fertilization

Seven-leaf lily needs more fertilizer in summer because it is its peak growth period and needs some fertilizers that are beneficial to its growth. In autumn and winter, the number of fertilizations can be gradually reduced.

6. Pruning

Seven-leaf lily generally does not need to be pruned, but it can be pruned appropriately during the growing season to promote the sprouting of new branches, and the cut branches can be used for cuttings.

Seven-leaf lotus cultivation precautions

You need to be careful when caring for the seven-leaf lily. It should be placed in a well-ventilated place for maintenance, and it should also have sufficient sunlight, but it should be avoided from being exposed to the sun. When watering, you need to avoid water accumulation.
