How to make and use Milan flower fertilizer

Suitable fertilizer for Milan flowers

The commonly used fertilizers for Milan flowers are compound fertilizers and some farmyard manures, such as peanut cake fertilizer or rapeseed cake fertilizer. During the growth process of the plant, various growth elements should be supplemented in time to ensure the application of nitrogen fertilizer, and it should not be applied excessively.

The most suitable fertilizer for Milan flowers is decomposed peanut cake fertilizer or rapeseed cake fertilizer. This fertilizer is purely natural and has sufficient nutrients, which can promote vigorous growth of the plants. In addition, using human and animal manure that has been fermented and deodorized can also have a good effect.

Milan flower fertilizer production method

1. You can prepare some clean water first, and then add some ferrous sulfate to the clean water, but be careful not to use an appropriate amount of ferrous sulfate. Wait until the water turns slightly red, then add a small amount of fertilizer cake to the water. After the fertilizer cake is absorbed, you can fertilize Milan.

2. You can also collect all the peels of oranges, bananas, grapefruits, apples, etc., crush them with tools, and put them in a sealed container. After about 30 days, these peels will become muddy and you can bury them directly on the soil of Milan flowers.

3. Collect feces, either human or livestock, and put it in a sealed container. Ferment it for about seven days. The fermented feces will fully release their nutrients, but this fertilizer cannot be used directly to fertilize Milan flowers. It needs to be used in combination with clean water.

How to use Milan flower fertilizer

1. When applying fertilizer to Milan, make sure it is fully decomposed. Do not apply raw fertilizer for the sake of momentary convenience. When applying fertilizer, pay attention to adding water for dilution. The concentration should not be too high to ensure that the plant is protected from fertilizer damage.

2. Pay attention to the time of fertilizing. Wait until the soil in the pot is slightly dry so that the fertilizer can be easily absorbed. Fertilization should generally be done in the evening. Be sure to water thoroughly the next morning. In case the fertilizer is too concentrated, it can be diluted through watering to ensure the safety of the plant.

Milan flower fertilizer used too much

If Milan flowers shed leaves due to excessive fertilizer use, you need to raise the flowerpot, loosen the soil, stop fertilizing, and place it in a ventilated place. In the morning and evening, only spray water on the leaves to speed up the evaporation of water in the pot. After the plant stops shedding leaves, you can maintain it normally.

Milan flower fertilizer precautions

1. When fertilizing Milan, do not apply too much or too frequently to avoid root burn. In autumn, the plant needs to be properly supplemented with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. In early autumn, fertilizer and water should be applied once every half a month. In late autumn, it is best to apply fertilizer once a month.

2. Do not fertilize Milan in winter, because the temperature is too low in winter and the plant will enter a dormant period. At this time, its root system's absorption rate of water and fertilizer is relatively low. If you apply fertilizer, it may cause root burn.
