Does the spathiphyllum prefer shade or sun?

The scattered bamboo is very easy to grow and can be grown at home, where it can have a good ornamental effect. The soil should be kept moist when growing the scattered bamboo, and water should be sprayed to increase the air humidity when the weather is dry. At the same time, the scattered bamboo likes a semi-shaded and diffused light environment, so it should be exposed to light appropriately during maintenance and avoid direct sunlight.

Does the spathiphyllum like the sun?

The scattered bamboo is not very demanding on light. It likes plenty of sunlight, but is afraid of scorching sun and can tolerate partial shade, which means it can receive scattered light throughout the day. It is best not to place it directly in the sun.

Loose-tail bamboo can be exposed to the sun in the summer, but it cannot be exposed to strong light. If the leaves are sunburned, the tips will slowly turn yellow and wilt. At this time, it should be supplemented with water and shaded by about 30-50%.

Is the bamboo tolerant to shade?

The loose-tailed bamboo can tolerate partial shade and cannot be planted directly in a shady place. If it cannot receive sunlight for a long time, its growth will be hindered and it will not bloom.

Growing environment of spathiphyllum

Indoor potted Areca palm should choose slightly acidic soil. In the north, you should pay attention to using sandy loam with high humus content. Areca palm is not cold-resistant and needs to be grown in an environment above 10 degrees. If the temperature is below 10 degrees, it will slowly go dormant.

The loose-tailed bamboo likes moisture and needs to be provided with sufficient water in the dry and hot season, but less watering is needed in rainy weather. Because the plant likes an acidic environment and the water in the north is more alkaline, it needs to be acidified by watering with alum fertilizer water or ferrous sulfate solution. The potting soil should be kept moist at ordinary times, and water should be sprayed appropriately in summer to increase the environmental humidity.
