How to transplant jasmine

Transplanting time

Generally, jasmine is transplanted in spring and autumn every year.

Transplanting method

When transplanting jasmine in spring, you can add base fertilizer to it, but do not add it at other times. Take the living jasmine out of the pot and keep the sand ball with the root system intact (the editor thinks that it is okay if it really cannot be kept...).

Place the plant gently into the prepared potting soil, be steady (don't shake~), add potting soil at the same time, compact the soil with your hands and water it, place it in a place with sufficient diffuse light, not directly in the sun. Carefully maintain it for a week, then you can maintain it normally. Water it only when it is dry. Water it until it is wet. Don't over-water, which will cause water accumulation in the pot and hinder the normal growth and extension of the plant.

Precautions

We need to be especially careful when transplanting jasmine. When we transplant jasmine in pots ourselves, we need to pay special attention to the root system of jasmine.

1. It is best not to damage the root system of jasmine, and try to keep the fibrous roots of jasmine.

2. Do not use fertilizer when choosing potting soil, otherwise it will cause the new roots to rot and fail to survive.

3. Do not apply fertilizer during the seedling acclimatization period.

4. The newly potted jasmine needs to be placed in a well-ventilated place with sufficient diffuse light for about 3-5 days, and then placed in the sun for management. Pay attention to the growth of the plant and prevent the potting soil from being too moist, otherwise it will cause root rot.
