Vanda orchid care tips

Vanda orchid care tips

Vanda orchids need sufficient sunlight, suitable temperature, proper water, necessary nutrients, and of course your patience and carefulness to grow. Read the following text carefully and do a little homework on how to care for your Vanda orchids!

What does Vanda need for care?

  Soak up the sun

The breath of sunlight will make it grow very strong. The excessive heat blocked out half of the sunlight, but it was able to cope with the rest. Let the sunshine shine even brighter in winter!

Give it some temperature

Vanda is a tropical plant, and you have to satisfy it. It is best to keep it at around 25 ℃. If there were no frost or snow in the area, it would smile like a flower all year round.

In fact, it needs water

All things cannot live without the nourishment of water. Although they are drought-resistant, they cannot survive without suitable amounts of water. It needs you to water it in the dry season, and the air humidity can be maintained at around 80%, and it will be very comfortable.

Essential nutrients

Humans need nutrition, and so do plants. Giving it vitamins is no different. Just some 10:10:5 ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium would be fine. Just come once every 8 days or so and it will be very happy.

Nourishment from Mother Earth

The soil in the pot must be well-drained and well-ventilated. Just like a person's home. No one wants their home to be flooded and have excessive PM2.5 levels.

Move less

If it is an insect infestation, moving is imperative. If you are living well, why do you need to change the pot frequently? Of course, it’s normal to change residence after living there for three to five years!

Future generations need more than just humans

First of all! You can wait until the limbs of the Vanda orchid grow bigger before you harvest it. Doing so can ensure the survival rate of its offspring. Please use sterilized instruments and remember to apply medicine on the wound! It's hard for anyone to feel uncomfortable after being stabbed. Pain is a common feeling among all living things.

It's sick and needs your care.

No matter how strong you are, there will be moments of weakness, and no matter how weak you are, there will be moments of strength. When it is sick and needs you, take good care of it. In fact, if you are careful and pay more attention to it in daily life, it will still be very healthy.
