How to water Caichunfeng

Watering tips for Caichunfeng

Colorful Spring Peak is a plant of the Euphorbiaceae family and the Euphorbia genus. Different varieties have different colors of fleshy stems, mainly dark red, milky white, light yellow, and complex colors such as edging and stripes. The best time to water Colorful Spring Peak is in the morning in summer, and at noon in clear weather in winter. It can be watered throughout the day in spring and autumn.

How to judge whether the Caichunfeng should be watered

Insert a bamboo stick or toothpick along the edge of the Caichunfeng flowerpot directly into the soil, then pull it out and check whether the toothpick is moist. You can do this several times. If it is dry, it means it is time to water it. If it is moist, then do not water it.

How often should I water Caichunfeng?

Caichunfeng is drought-resistant and does not need frequent watering. It should be watered according to the principle of "better dry than wet". Once water accumulates, the roots will rot easily, affecting growth. It only needs to be watered once every half a month or so in spring and autumn. In summer, water appropriately to keep it slightly moist. In winter, the plant hibernates at low temperatures, so water control is even more important. A relatively dry environment is conducive to wintering.

Water the Caichunfeng thoroughly

When watering Caichunfeng, do not water halfway, but water it thoroughly at one time, and loosen the soil in time to help the roots absorb water and nutrients.

The correct way to water Caichunfeng

Caichunfeng does not require much water, and even during the growing season, it does not need to be watered too frequently because it has a certain degree of drought resistance. Just water it whenever the soil is dry.

What kind of water should be used to irrigate Caichun Peak?

You can use clean water when watering Caichunfeng. If you want to use tap water, you need to let it stand for 1-2 days in advance to allow the chlorine in it to be released before use.

Caichunfeng Watering Amount

The colorful spring peak should be watered in moderation. Water less in summer, as long as the soil in the pot retains some moisture. In spring, you can water it thoroughly, but there should be no water accumulation. As long as the water can provide it with sufficient growth, it will be fine.

Caichunfeng Watering Precautions

1. When repotting the Colorful Spring Peak, if you are using moist soil, you don't need to water it. If you are using dry soil, you can water it in small amounts. Use sufficiently clean water. Note that you must not water it too much, because it is easy to damage the roots when repotting. If you water it too much, it is easy to rot.

2. Colorful spring peak cannot tolerate waterlogging environment. Do not water it too much and do not make the soil in the pot too moist. When watering, remember the principle of "better dry than wet". During the dormant period in summer and winter, control watering.
