Can the fortune tree survive if it is frozen? Can it survive if its trunk is rotten?

1. Can you survive frostbite?

After the money tree is frostbitten, you should first check its branches. If the branches are not wrinkled, it can still survive after remedial measures. After frost damage occurs, the plant needs to be moved to a warm place as soon as possible, but do not place it in an environment with too high temperature. The temperature should be increased slowly. First keep the indoor temperature at 10℃, and then gradually increase it after it adapts, usually to 20℃. After the temperature stabilizes, it is necessary to spray water appropriately, and the water temperature should be similar to the room temperature.

After adjusting the temperature and spraying water, if the leaves of the money tree are still lifeless, they should be pruned off, leaving only the buds. After cutting the leaves, continue to care for it for a while and it will grow new leaves. Growing leaves means the money tree is alive.

2. Can a tree survive if its trunk is rotten?

Usually, after the trunk of the money tree rots, as long as the situation is not too serious, it can be saved after simple treatment, but if the rot is severe, it will be difficult to save it. After the tree trunk rots, stop watering and use scissors to cut off the rotten part. Then use fungicide to sterilize and disinfect it. Then place it in a cool and ventilated place and let the cut part dry.
