How to care for hydroponic jasper

Jade hydroponic method

First prepare a transparent hydroponic container. The container needs to be disinfected before use. Choose clean and purified water. Prepare healthy and disease-free jade cuttings. Only after disinfection can hydroponics be carried out. Afterwards, maintenance and management must be strengthened.

How to cultivate hydroponic jasper

1. When hydroponically cultivating jadeite, change the water every two days before it takes root. It will take about a week for hydroponically grown roots to form, and then you can change the water once a week.

2. After the hydroponic jade grows new roots, you can add a little nutrient solution to the water when changing the water. This can promote the growth of the jade and prevent the plant from growing only stems but no leaves.

3. During the process of hydroponic cultivation of jadeite, it is best to place it in a place with bright scattered light indoors. It can be exposed to more sunlight in winter, and its growth temperature should be controlled at around 25°C. The overwintering temperature should not be lower than 10°C.

How to grow Jasper in water

If you want the hydroponic jade to bloom, you must provide it with a 20℃ growing environment and sufficient light. You must replenish water and fertilizer in a timely manner without any omissions. Before flowering, you can spray it with some low-concentration drugs to prevent some pests and diseases.

How to grow Jasper in water without yellowing leaves

If jadeite is exposed to strong light during water cultivation, it will easily develop yellow leaves. Therefore, in order to avoid yellow leaves, it is necessary to be careful not to expose it to direct strong light. It is better to keep it under scattered light.

Precautions for water culture of Jasper

1. When hydroponically cultivating jadeite, please note that the plant requires relatively few nutrients for growth. If the water nutrition of the hydroponic plant is too high, it will lead to the appearance of harmful substances such as microorganisms, which will affect its growth. Generally, after new roots grow, you can reduce the nutrients appropriately. You only need to spray some water with a small spray bottle every day.

2. If you want hydroponic jade to grow fast, you need to maintain the humidity of the air and spray a proper amount of water mist on the leaves of the plant to keep it moist. Before it takes root, place it in a cool and ventilated place for maintenance for a period of time. Change the water once a day before it takes root, and change the water once a week after it takes root.
