Boxwood prefers fertile soil when planting, and is generally more suitable for planting in loose, breathable and fertile soil.

It can grow in slightly acidic or slightly alkaline soil. Generally, garden soil and leaf mold are more suitable for planting.

Boxwood has a long lifespan and is generally suitable for planting in spring from February to May or in autumn from August to October. Boxwood is an evergreen plant with a long growth cycle and a relatively slow growth rate. It usually takes several years to grow one centimeter.
