How to cultivate Jade Flower and what to pay attention to

Jade leaf flower growth habits

Jade plant likes warm, dry and sunny environment, and can tolerate partial shade. It cannot tolerate strong sunlight in summer and needs shade and ventilation. In winter, just place the plant in the sun. The suitable growth temperature is between 15-25 degrees. It is not cold-resistant. When the temperature is low, it must be kept above 10℃ and not lower than 5℃, otherwise the plant will be frostbitten.

Jade flower cultivation method

Jade Plant likes sunlight and needs to be placed in a well-lit place for maintenance. Provide sufficient light and ensure good drainage during the rainy season. Water it thoroughly after the soil is dry. Do not allow water to accumulate. Apply a thin nitrogen-containing fertilizer once every half a month, and remember to apply thin fertilizers frequently.

Watering Jade Flower

Jade Plant cannot tolerate waterlogging environment. Water it when the soil is dry and wet to avoid waterlogging in the pot soil. When the temperature is high, sprinkle some water around it and do not let the air be too dry. If the temperature is low, water it as little as possible, which is good for the growth of the plant.

Fertilizing Jade Flower

Jade Plant is a fertilizer-loving plant. Liquid fertilizer can be applied once every half a month during its growth period. It needs to be fully decomposed and diluted with water before use. Of course, compound fertilizer can also be used.

Jade Flower Pruning

The Jade Plant grows very fast and is very resistant to pruning. It can be heavily pruned when repotting every year. The weak, diseased, overgrown, and dense branches and leaves can be pruned away to avoid affecting the beauty of the tree shape.

Jade Flower Cuttings

Jade Plant can be propagated by cuttings in spring and autumn, and the root survival rate is relatively high. Choose slightly older paper strips in advance, about 10 cm in length, and keep the leaves on the upper part. Place the branches in a well-ventilated place to dry, and insert them into a loose and fertile sand bed. Do not water them in the first week, and they will take root in about half a month.

Precautions for the maintenance of Jade Flower

The Jade Plant cannot tolerate cold weather, so you need to take measures to keep warm in winter. You can move it indoors for maintenance in time. Try to water it as little as possible. If you water it, the water temperature needs to be close to the room temperature and soil temperature, otherwise the plant will be frozen.
