The Guanyin bamboo is taller than the former, reaching a maximum height of 3 meters. The bamboo pole is dark green, with white when young. It has many branches, the main branches are not obvious, and the stem is very thick.

2. Difference of blades

The leaves of lucky bamboo are long lanceolate, similar to bamboo, about 13-23 cm long and about 1.8-3.2 cm wide. Alternate or opposite, papery, with 3-7 obvious main veins, dark green in color, with yellow-white or white edges, and petioles about 7.5-10 cm long. The leaves of Guanyin bamboo are linear-lanceolate, much narrower than the former, 3.5-6.5 cm long and 0.4-0.7 cm wide.
