The camphor tree is an evergreen tree with the smell of camphor. It generally grows on sunny hillsides, valleys and river banks. It has a wide distribution range in my country, and is mostly planted in Shuyang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui. It prefers to grow in a warm and humid environment.

The camphor tree has different temperature requirements during different growth periods. Generally, the most suitable growth temperature is around 20-25 degrees. The annual average temperature needs to be 16-17 degrees for better growth. The banyan tree is afraid of frost and can generally withstand a minimum temperature of around minus 7 degrees.

During the growth process, the camphor tree will emit fragrance and likes a humid environment. Generally, the air humidity needs to be around 70% during maintenance, and the soil humidity needs to be maintained at 65-70%. Camphor trees are afraid of waterlogging, so you need to pay attention to controlling the amount of watering during maintenance.

The camphor tree is not very demanding on the soil and is generally more suitable for planting in fertile, deep, slightly acidic or neutral sandy loam. It has no requirements for the terrain when planting and has a certain resistance to salt and alkali.

The growth rate of camphor tree is very slow. Generally, if it is well maintained, it can grow about 2 cm a year. Camphor tree is a perennial plant with a good purification effect. It usually blooms in April and May in spring and bears fruit in August-November in autumn.
