When is the grass bead planted?

Greenhouse planting time: Greenhouse planting of grass beads is little affected by climate and can be planted all year round.

Fujian Grass Beads

Fujian grass beads are mostly planted in spring and mature in September. They like to grow in low-lying and humid environments and are mostly black in color.

Grass bead varieties and planting months

Grass beads are coix seeds, which have a long history of cultivation in my country. They are generally divided into two types: black-shelled coix seeds and white-shelled coix seeds, both of which are cultivated varieties.

Black shell coix

Black-shelled coix is ​​native to Sichuan and is mostly grown in areas above 1,000 meters above sea level. It can be planted in late April and is characterized by plump grains and high rice yield.

White shell coix

White-shelled coix can also be planted in April, with a growth cycle of about 120 days. The advantages of this type of coix are dense fruiting and high yield.
